Careers VS. Jobs
Job- Something done to earn money. You're more likely to switch jobs after a few years of doing your current one.
|
Career- The series of jobs that can be related in many ways. People don't change careers often due to having to go to college and learn about things that relate to each other. |
The main difference is that you have multiple jobs in your single ( or maybe multiple) career(s). People can change their jobs, but most likely will not change their career. Most of their jobs in the career are highly related to one another some way, and some how. This video will give you a better explanation.
Standard of Living
Different people have different standards of living. This is based on where and how you live, also how much money you make. One example of where you live is that if there's someone that lives in Indiana, and another person who lives in New York, their standard of living will be completely different. The person in Indiana might have their own car and live in a house, while a person in New York would typically use a taxi or bus to get around and live in an apartment. One example of how much money you make is that depending on your wealth, you might eat sleep, or do anything that requires you to have any money will be different. Different places have different jobs, and different jobs have different pay. Before you can have your own standard of living that you're comfortable with, you must first have a job, and before you can have a job, you have to specialize in a certain career.
